The staff at this hostel were incredibly friendly and helpful. They made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in the door. the atmosphere was amazing, with daily events and a great social vibe. I particularly enjoyed the joint city tours and bar visits, which helped me get to know the area better and make new friends. the hostel is also in a fantastic location, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of nearby amenities. I loved that I could easily explore the city on foot.
there was only one bathroom for a room with about 10 people, which could be quite inconvenient at times. there were certain times at night when the kitchen and common area, where there were two additional bathrooms, were locked.

I stayed at The Madhouse for 5 nights and it was the best decision ever. The staff, including Henry and Julia, were fun, creative, and hardworking. The atmosphere was amazing, with daily events and a friendly social vibe. The bunk beds with curtains added privacy, and the hostel felt like living in a big house with friends. The family meal was vegetarian-friendly and affordable, and the self-serve beer fridge was a great bonus. With different group outings every night, you'll never get bored. I'm definitely coming back!
